Nina Aarestrup Vind
Public Affairs Director Nordics
Nina has extensive international, EU and Nordic experience within public affairs, advocacy, positioning and strategic communication in highly regulated sectors and policy areas, including environmental, climate, consumer goods, energy and public health sectors.
Before joining as ACE Public Affairs Director Nordics, Nina headed advocacy in the LEGO Foundation’s evidence department, where she was responsible for public affairs, policy analysis and dissemination of complex evidence-based awareness strategies. Prior to this, Nina worked for eight years at the global pharmaceutical company Lundbeck where she established and headed reputation and issues management, developed, and implemented global positioning and advocacy strategies as well as provided the executive management with strategic policy advice. Nina has also worked as an EU Public Affairs professional based in Paris and Brussels. Previous positions include the Swedish Embassy in Paris, Confederation of Swedish Enterprise’s EU office and several years as an EU Public Affairs manager in a top tier consultancy.
A Swedish national with Norwegian roots living in Copenhagen, Nina has a master’s degree in Law from the University of Lund in Sweden where she specialized in EU competition law and a master’s degree in international relations from University Jean Moulin III, Lyon, France. She is fluent in Swedish, English, French, Danish and Norwegian.
