Secretariat

The ACE secretariat is based in Brussels, Belgium. Its role is:

  • To manage the operations of the organisation,
  • To run common projects,
  • To support and serve its members,
  • To align its members on common positions, sector goals and commitments,
  • To represent its members towards other stakeholders and the media,
  • To build, maintain, and provide expert knowledge on the environmental credentials of beverage cartons.

The secretariat has a staff of three:

    Curriculum Vitae

    Annick has extensive policy and strategy experience in the area of EU sustainability and environmental policy. Before taking up her duties as ACE Director General, she worked at Eurometaux, the European Federation of the Non-Ferrous Metals Industry, as Sustainability Director. Prior to that, she was Secretary General of the International Confederation of Inspection and Certification Organisations (CEOC) and Deputy Managing Director at CEPI (the Confederation of European Paper Industries).

    Annick, a Belgian national, holds academic degrees in translation (German-English), in political sciences and a special degree in environmental management.

    Curriculum Vitae

    Chrysi is responsible for the overall management of the office. In this role she provides administrative support to all staff and supports the Director General to ensure all organisational and governance aspects of ACE operate efficiently. Her responsibilities include financial coordination, office management, events organisation, and assistance in the preparation of reports and materials.

    Before joining ACE in November 2013, Chrysi has acquired experience and expertise in several positions in European and international Brussels-based organisations in a variety of sectors (public transport, public health, regulatory affairs, chemicals and food ingredient sectors). This has given her opportunities to strengthen her organisational and operational skills and work in multi-cultural environments. Chrysi is a Greek-Belgian national and holds a Degree in Administrative and Linguistic Studies and a Certificate in Business Studies.
